Five acts comedy: a game of theatre in the theatre. The famous stage director Massimo Re falls in love with Bianca, a young actress, just one month before the debut of his new play entitled “School of seduction". Massimo chooses Bianca as the protagonist, even though the role has already been assigned to another actress. It's the spark of a neverending chain of events which overwhelms the whole cast and the production: a funny seesaw between truth and lies, sense and sensibility, with the complicity of the eternal sex fight.

Dance theatre language in order to investigate the male-female relationship in an oneiric vision. Three women, three different colours, three symbolic objects: the archetypical female universe try to approach the male world in a surreal space and dimension. A metaphor of the unconscious psyche of the mankind. As it happens in the dreams, characters play in a bare space, made of symbols to decipher and rarefied atmospheres: it's the aesthetic and structural code chosen for the show. White, red and black are the colours. Three archetypical presences which may be also seen as three different faces of the same woman, who try to find a new, true way to contact the other sex, educated to ignore and fear emotions.

THE ZARATHUSTRA PROJECT. PRELUDE. The Trilogy.

On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of German philosopher F.W. Nietzsche's death (1900 –2000), Nuova Scena Antica carries out the project Prelude, life and works of F.W. Nietzsche.

This project is one of the events proposed by the Milan Town Council – Department of Culture and Museums – and it was realized in collaboration with Provincia di Milano, Goethe Institut Mailand, Vale Communication and Teatro Greco.
The trilogy is made up of three theatre works and a chamber music concert: episodes and contents of the German philosopher’s life find an expression through different languages (dance, music, drama, lighting design).

poems by Senofane, Archiloco, Saffo, Ibico, Alceo, Bacchilide, Alcmane, Mimnermo, Tirteo, Pindaro, Callino, Teognide di Megera
dramaturgy, lighting design, direction Silvio Da Rů

A selection of texts by the ancient Greeks, among Nietzsche’s most beloved ones. Organized on the four seasons’ alternation, with their colours and audio visual suggestions, the poets’ immortal voices live to speak about what links man to gods: life. In the cyclical dance, spring’s short – lived beauty and the summer’s insolent happiness run through, giving space to the melancholy of fall and cold winter’s eternal silence.
